The Bull City Homebrew Holiday Gift Guide

“Awww, an electric banana peeler, it’s just what I wanted!”

It's the most wonderful time for a beer!Yes, the holidays are here! It’s time to set up decorations, bake cookies, and exchange junk we don’t need to show our close friends and family how much we love them. Yes, every year presents the same problem.  You don’t want to directly ask people what they want, you want to surprise them! And then when you do surprise them, it’s not really what they wanted.

We think we’ve found a way to help this year. We’re creating the Bull City Homebrew Holiday Gift Guide.  For you homebrewers, it’s like a virtual tour through the store of things you might not have seen before or might not even know we carry. But this isn’t just for you… it’s also for that person in your life who knows you homebrew and wants to get you something, but has no idea where to begin.

Every day or two we’ll put up a new and interesting thing we have in the store. For every item, we’ll answer the following questions:

  • What is that thing?
  • What level of homebrewer would use it?
  • What does it look like? (A picture, to make sure your gift receiver doesn’t already own it)
  • How much is it?
  • What do I say when I give this gift to make me look super-knowledgeable?
  • Why will the person I give it to think I’m awesome for giving it?

These are all important questions to that I like to know the answers to when I shop for someone. So if you’re a homebrewer, check out the stuff as it comes up every day and see if there’s anything that looks cool to you. And while you’re at it, pass on the link to anyone who might want to get you a nice homebrewing present but feels lightheaded and disoriented when they walk into a homebrew store.

Remember, the holidays are about fun and family… not stress. Keep checking out the Bull City Homebrew Holiday Gift Guide and RDWHAHB this holiday season!

Relax, don't worry, have a homebrew this holiday season!
